Were given an extremely friendly welcome and a detailed explanation of the Aira22. What a lovely sailboat and highly recommended if you want a bit more than sailing in Valk. Especially when the genaker can be raised, it becomes sporty sailing.

Beautiful nearly new boat brought for a weekend with 5 people. Friendly and relaxed landlord. Excellent service. Handling was also super. A harp of the jib had broken due to the strong wind, but they were not at all difficult about it. We will certainly do this more often!

On Wednesday 20 August, my mates and I had a fantastic sailing trip on the Mateo, an Aira 22. A comfortable a stable boat. We had to cancel two previous dates due to illness and bad weather. It was no problem at all to fix a new date at no cost. Meat for the barbecue we were allowed to keep in Inge and Jelle's fridge. The contact was great and the service was top notch!

We enjoyed ourselves immensely together on the beautiful large sloop available for hire at Genieten op het water. The routes you can sail are beautiful. We saw some nice places and enjoyed the surroundings. And ideally the plateau at the back from which we could fine the water.

The beautiful (Van Vossen 700) sloop was comfortable and clean. The route took us through the beautiful Frisian countryside with picturesque villages, peaceful lakes and nice places to moor. Definitely recommended for a fun day on the water!
Rented a very nice and spacious Vanvossen 700 sloop for a day. We sailed all day with a powerful Suzuki 30 HP engine, silent and economical. Left at 11:00 in the morning and returned to Heeg harbour a little after 19:00. Both on departure and return we were kindly greeted by the Owner. Clear explanation on how to use the sloop and water map with various routes.
This rental company comes highly recommended, nice equipment, flexible on time and good car parking.

Rented a Maxima 550 for 2 days. Boat looked good and we were given clear instructions + tips for routes. Good value for money. There is no hood over engine so some noise.

Fine service, good and friendly explanations and excellent boat. Close to the Heegermeer, where you can sail for hours to the Fluessen and beyond. You get a handy watermap. The Aira is comfortable thanks to seat cushions and benches in the cockpit and sails nicely sharp. Lovely day with lots of sunshine and plenty of wind.
At our traditional sailing weekend, we sail the familiar Falcons. To try something different, we hired 5 Aira's. What fantastic sailing and spacious boats they are. With the seating comfort of a cabin boat. All 20 participants unanimously agreed: next year, Aira's again.
Rented a fine Maxima 550. The explanation on how to steer the boat was good and explained calmly, also there were maps of the area with sailing routes. Plenty of choice to have a nice day on the water. You were also given tips on where to sail if necessary. Very nice That people are so thoughtful.

Beautiful boat, good explanations and very flexible in terms of scheduling.
We sailed both Hanse yachts which Genieten op het water offers for charter and can only recommend both of them for short-handed sailing on Ijsselmeer and Markemeer, both are very well and practically equipped for short-handed sailing. All sail controls are led back to cockpit, single line reefing works nicely without excessive friction, tri-radial sails not only look nice, but have due to roach higher sail area. Chart plotter is intuitive, there is even AIS. Boat handles well true wind of 27 knots (didn't have more during our trips fortunately), there is generous battery capacity (after 6 hours of sailing with fridge and navigation instruments running we still had 99%), generous diesel tank of 160 litres on 348 and powerful engines on both Hanses. In another words, If I was configuring my own Hanse, I would check the same boxes like Genieten op het water.
Really relaxed atmosphere during hand over just completes the very nice picture.
Note: although both Hanses of Genieten op het water are shallow draft keel versions and getting with them from Heeg to Ijsselmeer via Heegermeer and Fluessen is trouble free experience (particularly with the 315), their primary sailing area is Ijsselmeer, Markemeer and Wadensee. For sailing through Frisian lakes only, I would choose Sunbeam 22 instead.
Habe das Boot schon länger ausprobieren wollen. Hat sich gelohnt! Bequemes Segeln auf den Bänken oder auch bei mehr Wind auf der Kante! Die Ergonometrie stimmt! Besonders die Abstützmöglichkeiten im Cockpit sind gut, ebenso wie der Halt auf der angerauten Oberfläche - jederzeit sicherer Stand!
Liegt sehr gut auf dem Ruder, lässt sich super steuern!
Die Bedienung der Fallen, Reffleinen und Schoten ist überdacht und läuft gut. Begrenzt sogar gut einhandtauglich - mit Gennaker grenzwertig 🤔
Segeln gut zu 2-4 Personen auf bequemen Polstern, zu 6. bei wenig Wind okay.
Gute Staumöglichkeiten in der Schlupfkajüte und den 4 Backskisten.
Der Motor war fit und sprang immer an (wenn ich den Benzinhahn aufgedreht habe...).

Today we drove to Heeg from Alkmaar and rented a sloop. After a short sail we were already in Sneek, where the Oppenhuizerbrug closed just as we were nearing the bridge. A sloop reacts differently to the water than a car and keeping to the right under the fixed part of the bridge was a good idea already no more! The underside of the bridge just touched the highest part of the sloop - where the steering wheel, ignition key and throttle are attached. The whole thing tore off the floor and we drifted on helplessly. The two water stewards floating around there, keeping an eye on us, dragged us to shore with a rope and gave us a "boating ban". After we recovered from the shock on shore at a restaurant, I immediately contracted Jelle and shared the location. Twenty minutes later, he arrived with a smile and some tools and said this could just happen! In no time, he fixed the boat again and guess what? Completely free of charge! What a service people, where do you find that these days! We were able to continue enjoying the water with the same boat.....Absolutely chapeau for this action! We will definitely come back here!

We have been sailing the Aira 22 since its launch and have been pleasantly surprised every time by its great sailing characteristics, comfort, electric motor and convenience! The combination of little pressure on the rudder and a high hull means that even at wind force 6 (with a reef, of course) you can sail wonderfully stable and safe can sail. The effortless operation of the sheets is a treat in itself. And sailing with the gennaker is truly spectacular. The comfort of the boat cushions needs no explanation. The Aira 22 has really outdone all other open sailboats in one fell swoop, kudos!
Rented an Aira 22 for the 3rd time. Great that Jelle and Inge were so flexible as we had to shift the booking twice due to circumstances. The Aira is a fine and fast boat. Fast and manoeuvrable. But also very comfortable. Nice for the family. For sporty sailors, there is a (roll)gennaker on. In the right wind, it goes very fast. So it was really enjoyable on the water.

Saturday, September 14, we hired an aira 22. The weather was beautiful, nice and sunny, not a lot of wind. Jelle provided a genaker. This gave us much more sail area than the jib. Have rented the Aira 22 for the 4th time. Fine comfortable but above all fast boat. Passed many a Valk. Very easy to operate, thanks to the reefing system, among other things. (1 continuous line per reef).

Rented a sloop (Maxima 555) today and sailed all day with 4 people. It was a beautiful day!!! Lots of wind but the hood kept us dry. In calm waters the hood down, all easy to operate.
This was the first time and it is definitely worth repeating!

We rented an Aira 22 from that nice Jelle for the 3rd year. It sails wonderfully smooth and comfortable . Comfort in sitting comfort thanks to good cushions. Comfort in ease of sailing, you only have to operate the rudder with very little force even in wind force 5/6 so we are Fan. I myself have sailing experience with a falcon. Rented a sloop from 'Genieten op het water' for the first time. Last minute booking, the night before, via Whatsapp, and immediately Jelle responded the next morning that a sloop was still free.
Very nice contact, cool guy, and a very pleasant sloop (Maxima 550). If you call your company that then moet it also sit well!

We sailed with 10 people on the Maxima 750. Room enough for everyone. Engine has enough power to keep up well despite the limitation. Everything was fine.
After being moved twice in good consultation with Jelle and Inge due to the weather, among other things, we had another top day with the 10 of us on this fine and spacious boat!
Good boat and Jelle is very friendly. Clear map included. Unfortunately due to circumstances, only half a day and at the end it started to rain heavily. The hood offered a solution, just not for the person driving the boat. We enjoyed ourselves and everything was well organised.
Very enthusiastic about our two days on the Fluessen and surrounding area. Both sloop and sailboat were super nice and Jelle is friendly and service-oriented. We will definitely come back..Thanks!

Enjoyed a day on the sloop Maxima 630
Last week we rented the tiny houseboat. What an experience! It was fantastic. Got to experience beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Everything you need is there on the boat. We really went sailing so visited a lot of beautiful villages. Tip; hire a zodiac with it so you have more flexibility. Mooring in a passing port and continue by zodiac. Our advice, though, is to stay somewhere nice above wind force 3. Because it is high, it catches wind quickly. Other than that, it's great fun!
Yesterday we had a team outing with 11 people, fortunately we had dry weather although a lot of wind. it did not spoil the fun and is definitely worth repeating.
Ideally, there is a 12v socket and an on-board fridge that performed fine and has plenty of space.
We had the Maxima (bea) boat and without a boating licence theze boat just fine.

We rented a sloop for 3 days in May 2024 - the first day we had a 550 Sloep but decided to upgrade to the 650 for the other days. It was no problem and the owner was very nice and helpful. We rented an AIRA sailboat from him last summer and had the same thing. great experience. In general good boats, recommendations for tours and a great location for numerous trips on and around Heegermeer.
Harp down holder slipped loose while using boat. Reef line blocks full hoisting full rigging. This was known but apparently not resolved.
Good control of the boat would be nice, though. Fortunately, we did have a very enjoyable day of sailing. I would definitely rent an Aira 22 again.

4 stars instead of 5. The reason: it is just really unfortunate that you cannot rent a boat for an afternoon (you can, but you still pay for the whole day).
Also unfortunate that the tank was empty at three-quarters of the trip. We fortunately had someone on board who has spent his life on het water to be found. By him, the tank was refilled and bled, and the engine revived. Otherwise, we would have kept bobbing around. On our return, it became clear that the tank had not been completely full.
Boat itself is nice boat, neatly maintained and clean.
Staff also perceived as positive.

We had the De Maxima 550. We really liked this boat! Comfortable, nice that it has a hood so you can be sheltered when it is very hot. You get several routes and can rent the boat all day for a great price!

Cruising the Tiny House is quite tricky but super fun! Moreover, it is fully equipped and you can moor anywhere. I had 2 really fun weeks!
Not that unfortunately, but despite a heavy downpour on the Slotermeer, we very much enjoyed the Maxima 550. Later in the day, the weather even turned beautiful and we arrived at the marina dried out. In short, a fun day, made possible by the flexible attitude of Inge and Jelle. Thank you!

With 45 years of sailing experience in Friesland in almost all open sailboat type`s, the Aira-22 really stands out for me!
What is top?
- Sailing characteristics (The site says: comfortable, fast, stable and easy. This is all true!
You just have to experience it once then you can confirm this);
- Ease of use (Everything you need sits on it and also in the right place and works
super);
- Space (6 people) and comfort on board (for boomers, the benches are ideal),
- Good all-round visibility (You don't have to squeeze into all sorts of corners).
Friesland is really beautiful! I totally understand why Jelle & Inge named their company 'Genieten op het water'.
What's top about 'Genieten op het water':
- Price/quality of boats is good in my opinion.
- I have never had any problems with the boats for hire (no overdue maintenance).
- Site works well.
- Last but not least, Jelle is quick to respond, flexible and very accommodating when it comes to moving a paid reservation, for example.
I don't know if he is originally a Frisian... but he is (h)honestly down-to-earth, to the point, businesslike, and also very approachable with a touch of humour. Just a good guy!
- So in summary: a top company with top boats!
Last Friday, we enjoyed a day of cruising on the Maxima 550. There were fun sailing routes (we were given a map with different routes), but also by scanning a QR code you can follow the route, handy!
Halfway along the route, we docked in Sneek to grab a terrace. Everything was good for elcandle! We enjoyed ourselves on the water!
Halfway through we had a breakdown, called and Jelle came to see if it could be fixed. This unfortunately didn't work out so we towed the last half. So we still managed to complete our route. It was otherwise resolved in a nice way.
It took him almost the whole afternoon that way too.

fantastic boat! Wonderfully stable, fast and easy to handle. Quick to rig up and down. Cushions are a bit tricky to fasten with the pushbuttons but they are great. With the gennaker on, it really is a fast boat. In short, highly recommended!
Some wear here and there such as at the line to extend the gennaker boom. Boom ging also very laboriously out and in.
Praise for the service. boat was brought and taken to and from our holiday address and a malfunctioning lap clamp was quickly replaced.

Last Sunday, my friend and I had a lovely day on the water during the Sloeproute Heeg, IJlst, Sneekermeer, Langweer, Woudsend, Heeg. Besides the nice sloop we were given, we received a map and a booklet with various sailing routes.
We did often consult Google Maps in addition to the map, and that's how we found precies where we needed to be.

The Aira 22 is a wonderfully comfortable sailing boat where you sit comfortably on soft cushions (also in the back) and very spacious especially for 4/5 men. It is well manoeuvrable, very stable and easy to sail with little effort. The landlords are very pleasant and helpful. This was our second experience and we will definitely come back. We always sailed in a Valk about the same length but you sit IN the Aira and mostly on edge of the Falcon. It does feel different. An option for easier boarding after swimming would be nice. For these over-65s.

Sailed an Aira 22 for a few days in June 2023, an easy and pleasant boat.
Even we (not the most practised sailors!) got the boat up to speed well.
Jelle helped us well with tips and quickly replaced a lost sail bar.
As with all rental boats, some parts are subject to wear a little faster (such ass the curry clips), but that should not spoil the fun.
Tip: always wear a life jacket! On our last day, we fished someone out of the water after his boat capsized. He had been in the water for less than ten minutes, but was already so suspected (partly due to some higher waves) that he hardly had the strength to climb aboard with us.
Sailed an AIRA for the first time. Good boat which is sporty but also wonderfully comfortable.

We had hired a sloop the Maxima 550. When we arrived, the owner asked if we also minded taking a larger sloop. This was because there were some defects with the 550. All in all, a successful day, and definitely worth repeating.

The Maxima 550 is highly recommended for those who, like us, like cosy sailing. Of course, the big lakes will do very well too, and then it sails quite smoothly!
We were out for a whole day.
Heeg, Woudsend (via Heegsemeer), Balk (Slotermeer), and then really scenic routes through woods and fields: under Koudum afterar Hindeloopen, through to Workum and back to Heeg via the smallest of sailing routes (narrow and often stooping).
In Heeg, it also only just fitted under a closed drawbridge!
09:00 left, 18:00 back.
Around 15:45h, we left Workum.
Then you have a wonderful route right now 😉
There is time for about an hour and a half to a maximum of two hours of non-sailing. (Terrace or floating around)
If you like lots of small cruising, the Maxima 550 is really recommended for up to 5 people per boat.
Nice sleek boat that is lovely for a group of 12. Sails well and is easy to handle using the bow thruster. Roof against the sun is top, but can also be taken away. Landlord Jelle is relaxed and helps you well.
Rented an Aira for the first time. Compared to previous rented sailboats, this is a great sailboat. Everything well done, lovely cushions, easy and sporty sailing. We had quite a lot of wind, but with two reefs it went perfectly! The boat responds nicely and sails great. Understood that even with little wind the Aira also still sails very well.

Very nice day with the big sloop. We were given a route map and passed all kinds of nice villages. Boat looks neat and Jelle is helpful and reacts quickly. We were on Ascension Day, not super warm but doable. Boat he has a roof that you can also fold away. Definitely the worthwhile.

For the second year, we enjoyed a Maxima 630 sloop. It is an excellent boat: easy to sail and with plenty of comfort. Most relaxing, however, is the service from Inge and Jelle: essential for a truly relaxing holiday .
We had a lovely day on the water. It was not really warm, but thanks to the Top we were able to sit almost all out of the wind. Great boat to go out for a whole day.

Rented the Aira for the 2nd time and what a fine boat it is. We were used to other sailing boats but once we sailed the Aira with Jelle and Inge at Genieten op het Water for the first time, we don't want anything else. In no time the sails were set, nice cushions in the boat which is super clean and handy with all those bins in it where you can keep your things nice and dry. Even in low winds, you can still sail this boat.
The many possibilities from there are super nice. from the lakes to the nice towns you can sail to. Thanks to Jelle's valuable tips, we have already discovered 2 lovely places where we had super lunch by the water. Highly recommended. Jelle and Inge, until next time.
Lovely sailing with an Aira 22
We rented a small boat (Maxima) for 1 day (2 adults + 1 dog) and it was great. Several routes to choose from...super nice area. Worth repeating!
Lovely day on the Aira 22. Fine boat. What was nice was the people from Enjoy on the Water came immediately when we had a small problem with the outboard motor. Could have solved it ourselves afterwards. Agree with the earlier comment about the clamps, but they are going to replace them. Furthermore, a easy-sailing boat. Can also be sailed well solo.
You're nice and quick on the Heegermeer. Nice that it's not such a big and massive company either. Nice and cosy and personal.
fast and comfortable: surely that is the hallmark of the Aira. It is a pity that a decent variant was not chosen for the curry clips.
We enjoyed a full day with the Maxima sloop. After a short instruction on how the boat works, the trip started. You sail comfortably and in no time you get used to how the sloop reacts on the water. Because of the shallow draft and height of the boat (provided you're lower the hood) you can really sail anywhere. From Heeg, it's a great starting point for a hefty trip. Watermap and route suggestions plus life jackets are included in the rental price. The rental period for one day from 9:00 to 18:00 is more than enough for an unforgettable day out.

Had a lovely week on the lake. Nice to sail everywhere with your own cottage and stay overnight. It is spacious comfortable lovely beds, spacious kitchen. Even a hot shower! Great roof terrace. Enjoying the sun going down on the lounge sofa. Had great tips for staying overnight from Jelle. He is also We sailed along on the first part, which was nice because of the crowds! Our kids also had a great time. It was quite an experience!

We had 4 people and thick wind force 4 may with the Aira 22 and are used to a falcon, but this was something else. Great sporty comfortable and fast boat. Spacious enough , 5 /6 adults could certainly have done as well. And yes, if you also extend the bowsprit and put on the Gennaker you can have even more fun with 50 m2 . Together, we found it a very nice experience and we will hear a lot more about this ship. Randmeer , Centaur, Valk are well behind in terms of sailing characteristics and comfort.
How wonderful that we were able to celebrate our holidays this way. You can moor at the most beautiful ones. Beautiful nature, sunsets, peace, space and cosy villages. The boat is equipped with every luxury which certainly adds to the real enjoyment. Wonderful company, they are always available for help and advice. Jelle, thank you it was really "enjoyment”!

What a fine boat. We have sailed a lot of yachts (especially bavaria's), and in the past of course BM and polyvalk, in recent years some more game sailing with Tirion21, RS300 and now discovered the Aria. It has it all: much faster than the falcon, more comfort because of the reefing lines, cushions and fine cabin, simpler than the Tirion, and only 1m20 deep. In 5 quarters of an hour cruising from Wetterspetter to islet at Kruzpole at ZW2 a 3. Would be nice if the jib sheet was more manageable, not handy. Handling and explanation boat good.

Enjoyed cruising the Frisian waters with the Maxima 550. The Alexia looks very nice and neat with lovely seat cushions and enough room for 4 people and a dog. Sailing was good and easy, engine makes quite a bit of noise, but that will be normal. Beautiful routes, nice places to visit and laying. Was a top day! Real holiday feeling😊
We hired maxima 630 on 2 May 2022 with 5 adults and 3 children. Super neat sloop with plenty of seating for everyone. Fridge on board. You are given routes. Great service and very relaxed and approachable staff/owners.

We spent 3 days with the Maxima 550 sloop on the Frisian lakes. A fine and clean sloop! Because we had our boathouse close to Jelle & Inge, the sloop was brought and picked up. What a service. Great!
Compared to a Valk, this boat is easier to handle, more comfortable (sitting on benches instead of in the cockpit) and probably sails better. Boat had a good outboard motor as well as Gennaker (easy to mount). Excellent and clear explanation on departure. The mast is not ironable, which gives you fewer options for sailing everywhere. (However, enough remains for a few days).

We had a great time sailing the Aria 22. We normally rent a Valk, but the Aria offers much more comfort. The service and flexibility were great. The boat was brought on location, which was super.
Rented a sloop through Enjoyment on the Water in 2020 and paid in full. However, had to cancel due to circumstances. On the initiative of lessor himself, converted rent into a credit, which we used more than a year later.

Yesterday we rented a sloop with our family and granddaughter from enjoy on the water in Heeg. It was mega fun. The sloop looked beautiful. We sailed for 8 hours on the Frisian lakes and waters. The weather cooperated. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the super sloop. To be repeated.
We had hired boat Máxima 550 for 3 days, with berth cushions and full hood ( we could close the boat on the way). After fine explanations of the sailing routes and water charts, we started our 3-day trip - wonderful weather. Actually, the intention was to book a place to sleep for the 2 nights at a place where we were would end up (no plan made-let's relax and see where we end up) but due to the big late summer crowds it did not work out.
So we booked an overnight stay in a marina and slept in the boat - under a few plaids it worked out fine. The marinas have all sanitary facilities as well as shops for breakfast rolls and the like.
For us, the first experience on small boat overnight and sailed through beautiful Friesland.
Top renters with fine contact- it was a lovely relaxing cruise for us.

Two wonderful weeks on the water with the tiny houseboat. Our own little house in the middle of nature, because mooring at one of the quiet Marrekrite moorings feels like the inhabited world is very far away.
The pizza stall and the bakery boat that dock at the busier spots are fantastic. Aanrader because there is enough space on board for 2 adults and 2 children.

We were curious about the good stories we had heard ober the Aira, and these all came true. Sails super. We had 4-5 Bft with gusts 6, so reefed sailed. Easy to set. Unfortunately the strong breeze did not allow us to try the gennaker.

Sailed for a day on the Aira 22. Unfortunately little wind. A little more in the afternoon. Stable boat. Picks up quickly in a gust. Spacious cockpit and simple sail handling. No need to be an experienced sailor to handle this. The clamps for the sheets did not function optimally. In need of maintenance.
For some deThe reef aft was not reefed. If you had to reef, the mainsail should have been lowered and reefed first. The reefing system itself is single line by Selden. This is very easy to operate. 2 large lockers for taking things with you. For the sports enthusiasts among us, you can also get a genakker. We did not use it because we had to sail back downwind. So we couldn't try it out.
Great boat and location for a day of sailing.
The new aira 22 comes highly recommended. Sails better than a falcon, is more manageable and has more comfort. Children slept in the forecastle. Took some time to convert but this way all 4 of us fitted in!
How much we enjoyed last week on the water of our tinyhouse boat. We are another experience richer. A beautiful boat with all the trimmings. Good beds, a kitchenette and even a roof terrace for lounging. We enjoyed mooring everywhere and we also hired a small motorboat to go with it. On that way you can easily move to a restaurant in the evening if you are a bit further away. The owner Jelle is a topper and super relaxed. Top service. How beautiful Friesland is. Definitely worth repeating
We had a fantastic week! Lovely sailing, mooring at one of the islands, everything at hand and enjoying nature to the full. Highly recommended for everyone! Great service and friendly owners. Besides the tiny houseboat, we also used the small motorboat and the sups. We will definitely make this another do it once.
We hired the house boat for 3 nights with my husband and 2 children. It was probably the best weekend we had in 5 years. This is a brilliant idea, as you are changing the location for the night each time. We got a completely new boat and very comfortable. Everything you need was there, even for cooking. The boat has 2 separate bedrooms, a shower, WC, a kitchen and a living room and a roof top terrace as well as 2 small terraces on the ground floor. We managed to see so many places and wild animals, such as deers, a lot of birds etc. We stayed for the night in the national park and it was an unforgettable experience. It was easy to fuel the boat and add water in it when needed. Very easy with children (2 years and 6 years), they enjoyed a lot too. An experience you will never forget, totally worth it.

Having sailed for years in BMers, Valk and Randmeer... this really is in a class of its own!
What a sailing feast, that Aira 22. Same dimensions as a Valk or a Randmeer, but the modern design of hull and sails ensures more speed on all courses. And even more with gennaker. Amazingly then, sailing comfort is also better. Setting the gennaker does require considerable dexterity. Furthermore, I missed a cunningham line, while the stocking is in the mainsail.
Pretty neat sloop that we enjoyed a day in Heeg and Workum. Enjoyed visiting a number of Marrekrite.
My 83-year-old mother never thought she would still be cruising the Frisian Lakes in a boat. But with Genieten op het Water's sloop, it was made possible. Fantastic! Day with a golden edge!
Enjoyed last year just the two of us and therefore now on repeat with the (3 adult) children, so opted for the slightly larger Maxima 630.
Lovely sloop with plenty of space and the bathing platform/staircase was especially appreciated!
Still a few angry bridge officials because we forgot to reduce speed in Sneek and IJlst. And then one is immediately angry while the other solves it with humour. By the way, this sloop has a bow thruster on it, which is pretty handy for amateurs like us 🙂 ).

On 13 and 14 October, we rented the said boat from "Genieten op het water". As agreed, the boat was delivered to our accommodation address already on the 12th. Beautiful boat that met our expectations. It was a gamble so in autumn but nevertheless had a few nice dry days and on Tuesday even sunshine. The boat was then collected again. I recommend this company for renting a sloop.
As a boat owner yourself, you do have a different perspective on rental boats. The rental boat was perfect a great beautiful layout in terms of boat and very user friendly in steering. Neatly finished boat and super clean at start of rental. Can only compliment Jelle ( the owner) on the service and commitment he offers. We will definitely will rent a boat from Jelle again next season ( 2021) and want to try out the bigger version. I can highly recommend Jelle and Genieten op het Water for a hassle-free rental period with super nice boats and service !!!
A wheelchair and water sports are not really a good combo.
Recently, the three of us rented a single-storey houseboat In Friesland.
A fixed bed, toilet and kitchenette, but also surprisingly fun sailing! With bow and stern thruster, but even without, we got t house neatly alongside the shore after some practice.
Daughter found sleeping on the verd floor totally awesome- there the view is also great.

Door to toilet and bedroom are 60 cm wide; just enough for me!
Highly recommended if you want to unwind for a few days.

There was a fairly new spacious sloop waiting for us with the windshield up. It was easy to lay flat. Enjoyed sailing this lovely boat the engine could have a bit more power for on the lakes but for cruising perfect. Everything well organised, I would definitely go for this lovely Maxima sloop go.

We had initially hired the polyvalk but on arrival the aira immediately caught our eye. Fortunately, jelle is not the most difficult person and we were able to rebook the boat for a very reasonable price.

Interested in the Maxima 620 or 630 (both even ship, just different looks) drove all the way from Rotterdam to Friesland. And not for nothing. Lovely day's sailing. No filling in 100 forms before departure, within 10 minutes you are at the boat already waiting. Brief explanation and you are off. You still get sailing routes and a map. We sailed through small villages as well as Sneek. On lakes it was a bit turbulent and we had to raise the cap again. That was a bit of a puzzle, but we managed in the end. Very nice boat, wonderful trip. Worth repeating. Or buy one yourself 😉
From reservation to return, everything was nicely done. We enjoyed a day on the Frisian water with a Maxima 550. Beautiful surroundings, neat boat, cosy terraces. All in all, a success!

Excellent directions on arrival, very friendly staff, excellent explanations, several itineraries provided. Well-maintained boat the maxima 630. Even a refrigerator for refreshments (bring your own) Excellent choice.

Our first introduction to Friesland. Rented a sloop (Maxima 550) for 2 days from " Genieten op het water". Relaxed reception by Jelle and good explanation. On the basis of the maps we were given - and Google Maps comes in handy now and again - we sailed quite a bit. From Heeg to IJlst, Sneek and Woudsend, among other places. Back to Heeg. Wonderful experience. A bit exciting at first because "braking" with a boat like that works a bit differently from a car... 😉 But if you take it easy - and after all, you're on the water for your rest and relaxation - not much can go wrong. Unfortunately, on the second day, the weather gods let us down a bit so the trip was shortened a bit, but definitely worth repeating.

We sailed on the Maxima 630 (Willy). A super boat to spend an afternoon on. Fine reception and explanation by Jelle. Also, the water map and routes in the boat helped to complete a nice route.
Last week, we had rented a sloop from enjoy on the water. Because of the weather, we wanted to pick up the boat a bit later, and fortunately this was no problem at all. The sloop was waiting for us, we were given a map with some nice routes, a short instruction about the boat and then we were ready to go. already set sail. We really enjoyed this day on the water and were able to discover Friesland in a completely different way!
We were well served and the aira 22 is a very nice boat to sail.
Lovely boat at wind force 4 on the Heegermeer and Fluessen. 4 HP BB engine is included in the price. It was fully refuelled and there was another jerry-can of fuel on board. We had no explanation about the boat, but Jelle probably gathered from our conversation that we had experience had.
Recommended to rent boat again.
Rented a falcon for a day together with our 2 sons. We had a wonderful day. Boat was completely complete and tidy. Our son liked the anchoring for the sheets ???. Worth repeating ????

We hired the Maxima 630 for two days to sail with our children and grandchildren.
The first day we were on board with four adults and three children (aged 9 to 14) and sailed the blue route via Sneek
The boat is wonderfully spacious and the grandchildren kept finding different places to sitten. Docking regularly for a pick-nick or for a refreshing splash.
The second day we were three adults and two grandchildren. and sailed the route via scenic route via Balk.
Friendly people to show us around the sloop and advise us on the route.
Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

We were able to hire a sloop from Jelle at the last minute during the summer holidays. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to others.
In summer 2020, we rented the Aira 22 "Juan" from Genieten op het water for a fortnight.
As far as we are concerned, it really comes highly recommended. The boat is well equipped: furling jib, single line reefing, cockpit cushions, new 4-stroke outboard engine and last but not least a furling gennaker (Code Zero).
We sailed at windforce 4 and in low winds; in all cases, the boat is very controllable and remains controlled. Moreover, she is fast; not met any Valk, Randmeer or other similar open boat against whom 'we had to compete'.
Moreover, very comfortable; the seats and cushions are a real delight for longer trips.
We had a small technical problem on the way (block of mainsheet was not tightened properly), this was solved immediately by Jelle from Genieten op het Water; even stopping by our cottage!
Recommended.

Rented a Falcon for 6 days. Kindly received on arrival and escorted to our boat and provided with explanations where needed. Genieten op het water does not have new falcons but they are solid with good lines and good sails. If you need to spontaneously use the outboard motor it starts almost immediately! Jelle thanks for The cosiness and hospitality. You will definitely see me back :)!
Great week just had the Tiny house boat. Super comfortable. The lounge deck in particular is a lovely place to be. Sailing takes some getting used to, but with bow and stern thrusters, it's fine.

We hired (via the website) the sloop Máxima 550 in Heeg from enjoy on the water. They brought the boat to us for a small fee and picked it up again in Offingawier at the end of the week. Now that's service! Very friendly people and a clear explanation of how to use the boat.. In short, highly recommended! We enjoyed ourselves super.....repeatable! Thanks again Jelle and Inge! We really had a great afternoon sailing the sloop from "enjoy on the water"! The sloop was very easy to steer and the sloop route we were given was really a must!
The weather forecast was not too good, so there was some doubt. Went anyway and that was a good thing. We enjoyed ourselves! Every now and then a shower, but the boat has a canopy so we just took shelter for 15 minutes and went on. It was the first time for us so we were Pleased with Jelle's warm welcome and calm explanation.
The sloop is beautiful and easy to operate. We sailed the sloop route via Sneek, which is very beautiful and varied. So much to see, the time vpoog past. Good value for money. We will definitely recommend it to friends and acquaintances, and will definitely come back again.
We sailed the maxima 550 for 1 day with our 15- and 17-year-old daughters. We loved the experience! No nagging teenagers that day, but a lovely relaxing day! Highly recommended for everyone.

We called on the day if we could rent a sloop for half a day. We could! Beautiful new sloop (Máxima 550) with rain hood which was nice against the wind. Nice round trip with the children (towards Slotermeer). We were able to borrow sailing vests for free. Good service! Great day for a reasonable price. price. Nice that fuel is also included in price. Highly recommended!
