The following fuel is included in the rental price. You get the Aira 22 with a full tank of petrol (E10) and a spare 5-litre tank.
Maxima sloops are rented out including fuel surcharge (for this you get a full tank, enough to sail for a day).
The Van Vossen sloops are also delivered with a full tank (80 litres). Only when you hire a Van Vossen sloop for several days will we charge for fuel consumption. If you return it full, you pay nothing. If the tank is not full, you will be charged for the number of litres that are empty.
Hanse sailing yachts have a full tank of diesel at the start of the rental period. When you return from your (mini) holiday, we settle the fuel consumption. If you return it full, you pay nothing. If it is not full, you will be charged for the number of litres the tank is emptier than when you left.
Routes are available for sloops. You will be given a route booklet with scenic routes. By scanning the QR code at the front of the booklet, you can also follow the routes via Google Maps.
From Heeg, you can sail your sloop on beautiful routes across the Frisian lakes and to Sneek, Langweer, Woudsend or Gaastmeer, for example.
We do not have standard routes for sailing boats. We do provide you with a watermap of the area. Jelle can always advise you on the day itself, taking into account the (expected) wind direction and strength.
Jelle can also advise you on routes to sail and nice moorings with the Tiny Houseboat.
Yes, your dog or cat can come on board!
To us, you pay no additional costs when renting a sloop or open sailboat.
For the Hanse sailing yachts, you pay €80 final cleaning fee.
Should you need more fuel during your holiday or stay overnight in a port, there are of course costs involved.
If you have rented the boat for a day, in case of bad weather you can change your booking to another day within the current season (subject to availability) until 16:00 of the previous day.
For cancellations for other reasons, our terms and conditions. If you want to move your booking please contact us in good time.
We rent sloops for 2-12 people. If you want to come slooping with a group, we can accommodate up to 55 people.
The Aira 22 is suitable for 1-6 people. If you are with a larger party, you can of course rent several Aira's; we have 6 Aira's, so up to 30 people.
The Hanse 315 sleeps 1-5 and the Hanse 348 sleeps 1-7.
You can hire a boat from us for as long as you wish during the season from 1 April to 31 October. The Aira 22, the Subeam 22.1 and our sloops can be hired for a day or longer.
You can charter the Hanse 348 and the Hanse 315 for a minimum of a weekend or midweek.
Up to 15 days you can book the boats directly online. If you want to book longer please contact us.
Although we maintain our boats to the best of our ability, something can always break down. In that case, contact us immediately and we will try to find a solution to the problem as soon as possible, so that you can continue sailing and enjoying yourself again soon.
It is not advisable to rent a sailing boat if no one on board has sailing experience. For the Aira 22 and the Sunbeam 22.1, it is helpful if you or your party have previously sailed an open sailing boat or a small cabin yacht. For the Hanse 315 and Hanse 348, at least one week of experience as skipper on a cabin sailing yacht is required.
No boating experience is required to rent a sloop. If you rent one of our larger sloops, some boating experience is recommended.
Our boats are, of course, well insured. Should you unexpectedly cause damage, there is an own risk of €250 for the Aira 22 and the sloops, and €1,000 for the Hanse 315 and the Hanse 348.
The rental of the Aira 22’s and the sloops is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The times for the Hanse 315 and Hanse 349 depend on the chosen period. During the books these times are listed.
No a boating licence is not required to hire our boats. However, it is good to know the sailing rules. Check for example the site sailingtogether.com
We rent out Maxima sloops for 1-12 people and Van Vossen sloops for 1-10 people. Beautiful sloops for discovering Friesland for a day or longer.
If you want to spend your sailing holiday on a sailing yacht, the Hanse 315 or the Hanse 348 is the boat for you!
The minimum age to rent a boat is 18 years. If you are younger please contact us about your plans and together we will see what is possible.
Are you staying in Heeg at one of the holiday parks (such as Pharshoeke, Waterpark Heeg, Havenresort Heeg, Aqua Vive or Pension Aan het Water) or campsites (Watersportcamping Heeg, Camping Lân en Mar or Camping Oan'e Poel) and if you book a boat for 2 days or longer, it is possible to have your boat delivered and collected at your stay.
When you book your boat for 5 days or longer, we can also offer this pick-up and drop-off service in consultation in Gaastmeer, Woudsend, Sloten, Langweer, Elahuizen, IJlst and Sneek. In short: if you want to rent a boat in the middle of the Frisian lake district, you have come to the right place!
Of course! If you rent a boat for several days, you may moor it at your holiday address if you have a mooring there. Naturally, you may also moor it in our harbour in the evenings if that is more convenient for you.
Our sloops and open sailing boats are suitable for the Frisian lakes, canals and waterways. With the Sunbeam 22.1, you can also set sail on the IJsselmeer. Our Hanse sailing yachts are also suitable for a beautiful trip across the Wadden Sea to the Wadden Islands. However, for the IJsselmeer and the Wadden, you must have sufficient relevant sailing experience.
