Several days of sloop sailing in Friesland

Several days of sloop sailing in Friesland with overnight stays? Read our tips for a fun sloop holiday in Friesland here!

Friesland has many beautiful boating areas, too many to explore in one day. So we often see our guests renting a sloop for a few days or a week to explore Friesland.

Now you can find accommodation somewhere and sail a different route each day from there. From a holiday park in Heeg, Woudsend, Balk, Koudum, Langweer or Sneek you can sail many beautiful sloop routes through Friesland.

But it can also be done differently! We find that there are more and more guests who sail a route of several days and stay overnight at different locations along the way. A great way to discover Friesland.

To give you an idea of these possibilities, we have put together a sample itinerary for you. This one is a good mix of what Friesland has to offer.

In short: there are plenty of opportunities for 3 days to a week through the beautiful Friesland to sail by sloop. Incidentally, this route is also fine with a sailboat sailing. You can then enjoy sailing on the spacious lakes, but many canals and ditches are also great for sailing.
