For the 3rd year we hired this boat, there were 4 men of us and we easily fit in the AERA. The boat is very comfortable and easy to sail. It holds its course well and responds nicely to the helm. Jelle is a calm, flexible owner and very willing to help.
This time too, I was able to rent from Jelle without any problems. .
As it happened, the weather was also in our favour: a stiff breeze and sunshine. The Aira 22 felt stable. Definitely worth repeating. What appeals to me most is the flexibility when booking. Highly recommended!
We had the Maxima 630 with us. Nice boat, only it gave a fault. Played it safe and called just in case. In no time another boat was sailed over to us. The question was whether we wanted a larger one. I myself would have liked to try the Maxima 550 pro. Furthermore, a Had a first great day on the water with a lovely route suggested by Jelle. What I also think is brilliant are the toilets outside reception for customers. What I also really appreciate is that we automatically had the price difference for the replacement boat refunded without having to ask. Something can always go wrong, but the way you resolve it makes all the difference. Super!
Sunday 23 August 2026 had a wonderful time sailing with 9 people on the sloop “Bert”. The sloop was wonderfully spacious and fitted with lovely comfortable cushions, especially the canopy at the front of the sloop was very pleasant since we also had a small rain shower. The sloop was very neat and beautifully clean, The Steering the sloop was also reasonably easy, despite not having an experienced skipper among us. Upon our return, we were given friendly help with mooring the sloop. All in all, we had a very lovely day with the family in honour of our parents' 60th wedding anniversary.
What a lovely boat with benches and cushions and a spacious sail. Especially when you are going sailing for a few days, it is nice not to have to sit on the floor. The boat is also a bit higher so less bow wave in strong winds. Pleasant service
