Rent a sloop with skipper

Carefree enjoyment on the water!

Having fun on the water with your relations or your team? Renting a boat with skipper is NOT necessary. Our sloops can be sailed by yourself with some sailing experience.

You will depart from our harbour in Heeg and sail a scenic route through the Frisian lake district.
Have lunch on a nice terrace or bring your own lunch and have a nice picnic on an island. Our sloops are equipped with a fridge or you can optionally hire a cool box to store your lunch.

We have a sample of fun routes below. Sloop hire with your own skipper!

Fountain route

During this route, you will pass 2 of the 11 Frisian ‘Fountains’.

From Heeg, we sail via a scenic route to Elfstedenstad and Houtstad IJlst. In IJlst, we find the fountain Immortal Flowers.

Also, in IJlst, or Drylts as we say in Friesland, we can enjoy the well-known characteristic overtuinen.

A visit to museum and workshop Houststad IJlst is definitely worthwhile.

From IJlst, the skipper then sails us to Sneek in search of the unusual fountain. A golden sphere in the middle of the water topped by a man holding a Horn of Plenty. Sneek is also well worth a visit to an outdoor café or possibly one of the city's museums.

After visiting Sneek, you will sail back to Heeg via a scenic route, where you will moor at a waterside terrace for a delicious dinner.
