Lemmer is a nice place with on one side the IJsselmeer and the other side the Frisian Lakes. From our boat rental in Heeg you sail a few hours through a beautiful route to Lemmer.
If you have rented a Hanse 315 sailing yacht from us, you can go through the lock onto the IJsselmeer. In the inner city of Lemmer you will find nice terraces and shops on the quay.

A few days on the water with the Tiny House Boat. What enjoy the water of your "own floating house" with everything you need. With 4 people in February already enjoying the peace, sun and beautiful weather. Jelle....dank for the good and relaxed service & customer friendliness!
On 13 and 14 October we rented a boat from "Genieten op het Water". According to the agreement, the boat was already delivered on the 12th to our accommodation address. Beautiful boat that met our expectations. It was a gamble so in the autumn but nevertheless had a few nice dry days and on Tuesday even sunshine.. The boat was then picked up again. I recommend this company for renting a sloop.
As a boat owner yourself you have a different view on rental boats. The rental boat was perfect a great nice layout in terms of boat and very user friendly in steering. Neat finished boat and super clean at start of rental. Can only compliment Jelle (the owner) for the service and commitment he provides. We will definitely next season (2021) again rent a boat from Jelle and want to try the larger version. I can recommend Jelle and Genieten op het Water for a carefree rental period with super fine boats and service!
A wheelchair and water sports are not really a good combination.
Recently the three of us rented a ground floor houseboat in Friesland.
A fixed bed, toilet and kitchen, but also surprisingly nice sailing! With bow and stern thruster, but also without, after some practice we managed to get the house alongside.
Daughter found sleeping on the floor is totally awesome- the view is great there too.
Lots of smiling faces?
The door to the toilet and bedroom are 60 cm wide; just enough for me!
Highly recommended if you want to relax for a few days.
Last Saturday we sailed with friends (and 2 small children) with the Maxima 630 sloop. A very neat and well maintained boat. Life jackets for the children were thought.
