A wonderful trip with my parents, both over 80! After passing the lovely spots of Woudsend and Balk, where we'd enjoyed some delicious coffee and apple cake, the route led through the forest. Here, the sailing route became quite narrow, which really tested the helmsman when passing oncoming boats. We were sailing with the van Vossen 700 sloop is actually a bit too big for this route.
The start of the day was quite cold and misty; after 13:00, the sun began to break through, and it still reached 27 degrees.
We had a lovely day and will certainly come back to rent a boat here again! Top company.

My wife and I rented a Maxima 550 for 2 days, and our brother and sister-in-law also rented one. We had a great time exploring the local canals and surrounding towns. Jelle was great and provided everything we needed to enjoy our days on the water. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful trip was made from Heeg to Ter Herne via the lakes and back from Ter Herne to Heeg via Sneek and Ijlst.
The boat was truly lovely and did exactly what it was supposed to do.

When we were nearly back at the boatThe rental car ran out of petrol and stalled the engine.
After that, we couldn’t get it to work anymore. We rang Genieten op het water and within 10 minutes Jelle came sailing over to help us, and within 3 minutes the problem was sorted.

We sailed in the Ernie. Everything was arranged online. Upon arrival, everything had been prepared for us. The boat was wonderfully stable, even for getting on and off. Comfortable seating and shelter under the canopy for the rain. There was a small fridge on board. We would only have found a boat hook useful if which was also part of the equipment. A toilet at the start and end was also nice. This organisation is really well arranged and a fantastic boat.
From Heeg, you can sail via Woudsend to the Slotermeer in half an hour. This is a cosy lake because of the many groups from the sailing school that sail here, but also because of the cosy terrace of Lifeguard Keimpe. A great address for lunch, drinks or dinner. There is plenty of room for children to play.
