Exactly seven years ago, during Boot Düsseldorf, the Aira 22 made its debut. What started as an ambitious project quickly grew into a great success. The enthusiastic reactions at the fair were a clear sign: the Aira 22 filled a unique place in the sailing world. More than 250 examples are now sailing around in 16 countries.
The road to this success was not always easy. First, the builder refined every detail of the design to perfection. This was followed by introducing and selling the Aira - a process that sometimes proved more challenging than expected. But the goal was achieved: to create a boat that makes simple and enjoyable sailing accessible to all.
The future of the Aira is promising, and to secure it, the Aira Boats searched for a partner to continue building the Aira 22 with the same passion. Aira Boats has found that partner in RS Sailing, known worldwide as the specialist in open sailboats. RS Sailing will add the Aira 22 to their range and sees plenty of opportunities to introduce this fantastic boat in even more countries through their extensive dealer network.
During Boot Düsseldorf, the RS Aira 22 can already be admired alongside other models from RS Sailing. From this spring, RS Sailing will be the exclusive builder and seller of the Aira 22.
Curious about the RS Aira 22. In March 2025, we will get 2 new ones in our charter fleet which thus consists of 7 boats. Our Aira's are equipped with gennaker and outboard engine. Of course, you will be given a water chart and, on request, free life jackets and a watertight barrel. Will we see you soon in Heeg?
